These Terms of Service govern the appliance repair services provided by Scottsdale Wolf Sub Zero Repair ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") to customers in Scottsdale, AZ and surrounding areas. By scheduling or accepting repair service, you agree to these terms.
1. Service Agreement
When you schedule a repair appointment, you are requesting that a factory-trained technician visit your location to diagnose and, with your authorization, repair your Sub-Zero appliance.
All repairs are performed by appointment. Scheduling a service call constitutes an agreement to provide reasonable access to the appliance and to be available at the scheduled location during the appointment window. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 4 hours in advance.
Before any repair work begins, your technician will provide a written estimate identifying the diagnosed fault, the required parts, and the total cost of the repair. Work proceeds only with your explicit authorization of that estimate. You are not obligated to proceed with the repair after receiving the estimate; however, the diagnostic fee is due regardless of whether you authorize the repair.
2. Diagnostic Fee
A diagnostic fee of $85 to $120 applies to all service calls. This fee covers the technician's time to travel to your location, inspect the appliance, and identify the fault. The diagnostic fee is due at the time of the visit and is non-refundable, whether or not you choose to proceed with the repair.
If you authorize the repair and the work is completed during the same visit, the diagnostic fee is applied toward the total repair cost on most standard repairs. Your technician will confirm this at the time of the estimate.
3. Payment Terms
Payment is due in full upon completion of the repair. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. We do not offer installment payment plans.
In the event a part must be ordered and the repair cannot be completed on the initial visit, a deposit equal to the cost of the parts may be required before the order is placed. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the repair at the follow-up visit.
Returned checks or declined payment authorizations are subject to a $35 processing fee. Unpaid balances are subject to collection proceedings.
4. Warranty Terms
All completed repairs are covered by a written service warranty. Warranty terms are as follows:
- Labor warranty: 90 days from the date of repair on all labor performed.
- Parts warranty: Genuine OEM Sub-Zero parts carry the manufacturer's parts warranty, which is typically 1 year from the date of installation. Warranty terms for specific parts are noted on your service invoice.
The warranty covers the specific fault that was repaired. It does not cover new or unrelated failures, damage caused by misuse, power surges, physical damage, or failure to maintain the appliance in accordance with Sub-Zero's recommendations.
To make a warranty claim, contact us at (602) 962-2732 and reference your original service invoice number. Warranty service is performed at no charge if the claim is valid under the terms above.
5. Parts and Materials
We use only genuine OEM Sub-Zero parts sourced through authorized distributor channels. Substituting aftermarket parts would compromise appliance performance and potentially void any remaining manufacturer warranty on your unit. We do not use aftermarket or non-OEM components under any circumstances.
Parts ordered for your repair remain the property of Scottsdale Wolf Sub Zero Repair until payment is received in full.
6. Access and Property
You agree to provide safe access to the appliance and the surrounding area. Our technicians will take reasonable care to protect your property. We are not liable for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, structural deficiencies, or conditions that were not visible or apparent prior to beginning the repair.
If accessing the appliance requires moving other items, cabinetry, or built-in panels, you agree to ensure the area is prepared and safe for the technician. Any cabinetry or panel removal required to access a built-in or panel-ready Sub-Zero unit is the customer's responsibility unless explicitly included in the written estimate.
7. Limitation of Liability
Our liability for any repair is limited to the cost of the repair itself. We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages including, but not limited to, food spoilage, property damage caused by pre-existing conditions, or lost revenue.
In no event will our total liability exceed the amount paid for the specific service call in question.
8. Service Area
Our standard service area covers Scottsdale, AZ and adjacent communities including Paradise Valley, Tempe, and the Arcadia district of Phoenix. Service outside this area may be available at additional cost. Contact us to confirm availability at your location before scheduling.
9. Cancellations and No-Shows
If you cancel or reschedule with less than 4 hours' notice, or if no one is present at the scheduled location during the appointment window, a trip fee of $65 may apply to cover the technician's travel time. We will notify you before applying this fee.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any dispute arising from services provided under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Maricopa County, Arizona. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. The current version is always available at scottsdalewolfsubzerorepair.com/terms/. Continued use of our services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
